Is it just a run in the rain? 🌧️

It’s been ten years since that cold, rainy morning in Boston.

At the time, it didn’t feel like a moment I’d write about once—let alone return to a decade later.

But as I sat down to write about it again I realized something: That slushy, gray morning became a metaphor that’s followed me everywhere.

It’s easy to romanticize the big leaps; the speeches, the stages, the milestones, but the truth? Most of the turning points in my life came in silence. No spotlight. No audience. Just me, standing in a metaphorical doorway, deciding whether to step into discomfort or shrink from it.

This video is my way of returning to that moment—older, more worn in, a little more scarred, but also more certain of who I am.

It’s not about rain or running.
It’s about showing up when it’s easier to stay inside.
It’s about choosing movement when the world tells you to wait.
It’s about the kind of quiet courage that doesn’t announce itself, but becomes you over time.

And if you’re reading this, maybe you’re standing in your own doorway right now.

Maybe this is your rain.

And maybe, just maybe, this is the beginning of everything.
