Let Me Give You The Best News You Might Hear All Week
There will always be monsters.
Yes, the ones that catch you off guard. The ones that sneak into your thoughts at 2 a.m. The ones that whisper you're not enough and roar when you finally try to rise.
They are not anomalies. They are not glitches in an otherwise perfect life. They are the curriculum.
We grow up believing that life is best when it's peaceful, that happiness means the absence of pain. But what if it’s the opposite? What if everything you've ever wanted—strength, purpose, growth—was never behind comfort... but behind challenge?
Nietzsche once said, "When you stare into the abyss, the abyss stares back." And he's not wrong. Spend too long in the dark, and it will start to shape you. So stare back harder. Learn its language. Become the beast that walks through the dark and turns it into daylight.
Monsters—whatever form they take in your world—are mirrors. They reflect who we are. They test what we believe. And they show us, often in the hardest ways, what we’re capable of becoming.
I’ve met monsters—face to face. I’ve had failures that felt like a punch to the chest, dreams that cracked and times when quitting looked easier than continuing. But every single time one left behind a gift. A clue. A lesson. A new version of me.
Monsters aren't the exception. They are the rule. And if you stop running and start listening, you'll hear that they don’t just threaten you... they invite you. Invite you to rise. Invite you to choose courage. Invite you to pick up the sword, the shield—and the crown.
So the next time a monster shows up on your path—don’t flinch. Don’t run. Smile a little and grab the sword. Put the crown on crooked if you have to. And walk through the fire like it’s your welcome party.
Because you’re not the victim. You’re the main character.
Let it be the reason you transform. Let it be the thing that pushes you so hard, you can’t help but find out what you’re really made of.
There will always be monsters. Thank God. Because they make heroes and friend—you’re one of them.
Continue to live inspired,
