No One’s Coming.

I wish someone had told me this sooner before I spent years waiting for a moment that never came.

No one is coming.

No mentor. No miracle. No big magical moment.

You’re not going to wake up one day with zero fear, full clarity, and the perfect plan. That’s a fantasy. And believing in it is the reason so many people stay stuck.

I used to think I was waiting for the right time. I wasn’t. I was waiting for permission.

I walked past the same door every day labeled More, Better, Purpose. And I’d tell myself I wasn’t ready yet. “One day,” I’d say. “When I have more time. When I’m stronger. When I’m better.”

But here’s what I finally had to face: That door only opens from the inside. There is no one on the other side unlocking it for you. And the longer you wait, the louder the lies get.

I remember driving to work every morning, stuck in traffic, red light after red light, heart heavy in my chest. Not because of the job, but because I knew deep down…I was living someone else’s life.

I looked successful. I was checking the boxes. But inside? I was quietly crumbling. Not because I was weak but because I was ignoring my own truth.

And that’s what really breaks us. Not failure, not rejection, but living a life that doesn’t feel like ours.

Eventually, the numbness started to ache, and I thought, “If I don’t make a move, I’m going to forget what it feels like to be alive.”

That was the day I stopped waiting. Not because I had it all figured out, but because I was done letting fear make all my decisions.

Look, I get it. We all want a sign. We want the universe to tap us on the shoulder and say, “It’s your time now.”

But that’s not how life works.

Life doesn’t come with soundtracks and dramatic entrances. It leaves the key under the mat and waits to see if you’ll find it.

So if you’re tired of waiting…If you’re exhausted from going in circles…

Stop asking for permission.

You don’t need it. You never did.

Do you want to change? Then turn the handle.

The version of you you’ve been dreaming about? They’re already inside. They’re just waiting for you to open the door.

No more “someday.” No more waiting for courage to come knocking.

This is your sign. This is your moment. And the handle’s been in your hand the whole time.
