Personal Reflections from Austin 🌟

A few weeks ago, I was in Austin with some friends. Incredible trip, great company, meaningful conversations, and yes… zebras.

I even recorded a podcast on a ranch with my new friend Matt. But there’s one part of that trip I’ve been thinking about ever since and it’s what I want to share with you today.

Let me tell you about my friend Bo.

If you met him now, you’d probably assume he’s always had it together. He radiates confidence. He has purpose, people who love him, and a sense of peace that’s rare. But that version of Bo is the result of a journey most people never see.

A few years ago, Bo lost everything. His lifestyle, his identity, his relationships—gone. He ended up homeless on the streets of Dublin. No plan. No money. Just stripped down to the core of who he was.

But here’s the remarkable part:

He rebuilt.

Like the phoenix rising from the ashes, Bo didn’t just bounce back, he came back with clarity. With conviction. With a kind of fearlessness that only comes from walking through fire and realizing… you’re still standing.

One morning over coffee, Bo said something that hit me hard:

“I lost everything… and when you lose everything, God shows you what’s real.”

That moment became the seed for this video.

Because what Bo gained wasn’t just insight—it was freedom. The freedom to live in alignment. To stop saying yes out of guilt. To walk away from the noise and live in truth.

And it made me wonder…

What if we didn’t have to fall apart to figure that out?
What if we could borrow that clarity without having to sleep on a park bench?

That’s the heart of today’s video:

How to stop living out of obligation and start living one rooted in truth.

I’ll share more of Bo’s story, and explore what it looks like to live boldly before life forces our hand. To let go of what isn’t real, so we can finally give our energy to what is.

Hope to see you there.

Continue to live inspired,
