The Surprising Truth About Failure That Most People Never Discover...
Most people run from failure. I was told to chase it.
Last week I trained with Eric—the force behind some of the biggest names in fitness and personal development. You’ve probably seen him in the background of that infamous Goggins “Who’s gonna carry the boats?” video. That’s Eric, the voice in the background, pushing greatness out of people when they have nothing left.
This time, it was my turn.
We didn’t train for success. We trained for failure. And not just any failure, earned failure. The kind that breaks you open so something new can step forward. The kind that humbles your ego and sharpens your soul.
Somewhere deep into the workout, legs shaking, body screaming, Eric looked at me and yelled, “Let yourself fail, Eddie.”
Not try harder. Not push through. But fail. On purpose. Fully.
And something clicked. In that moment, failure wasn’t weakness, it was proof. Proof that I’d reached the edge of myself. That I had gone there. And when I got back up, I wasn’t the same person anymore.
That’s what today’s video is about.
Not the reps or the sweat or the struggle but the surrender. The courage to stop adjusting, stop faking it, and just fall. Because when we fall, we change. And when we earn our failure… we rise anew.
So here’s your invitation:
Not to chase perfection but to get uncomfortable. To carry the weight until it knocks you down, and then, get back up.
That’s where growth begins.
Thanks for walking this path with me. Let’s go earn it.
Continue to live inspired,
