They didn’t see it coming...

There’s a story that’s stuck with me for years.

A woman bakes the best cakes you’ve ever tasted.. but her shop? Hidden. Quiet. Tucked away where no one sees.

At first, she believes the work will speak for itself. But the silence lingers. And doubt creeps in.

Maybe I’m not cut out for this. Maybe I’m just… kidding myself.

Then one day, out of nowhere, Oprah walks in.

She takes one bite. Loses her mind. Raves about the cakes on national TV.

Boom.

Lines out the door. People flying in just to get a taste.

And here’s the thing: The cakes never changed. They were always that good. The world just finally noticed.

That story shook me a little because I’ve felt that. That ache of building something from the heart while the world looks the other way.

And maybe you have too. Maybe you’re pouring your soul into something that no one claps for yet. Maybe people are questioning you. Or worse, you’re questioning yourself.

But let me say this out loud:

It’s not insanity.  It’s conviction the world hasn’t caught up to yet.

The lonely middle. The part where you wonder if it’s worth it, before the world ever sees the worth.

So keep showing up. Keep pouring your heart into it. Because the world will catch up—just don’t stop before it does.

Continue to live inspired,
